Disabled

I've not been making videos or posting online for the last several years as I've become progressively more disabled with ME/CFS. I now use a wheelchair and need help with basic life tasks. I can't look at a screen for more than about 20 minutes before my brain stops processing, my senses are overwhelmed and I'm so exhausted I have to cover my eyes and ears and rest. Lying in the dark with my eyes and ears covered is what I have to do for most of the day every day, with my scant energy reserved for my dear beautiful son. I do grieve for what I can't do, most of all what I can't do with him. At the same time  I'm so grateful for what I did do. All the adventures with my cameras, meeting people and living creative life to the full in wonderful places; there I was at home. Thank you to everyone who worked with me and invited me to share in their creative work, trusting me to capture and portray it carefully and honestly. What a beautiful life. I haven't given up hope for the future but I am planning to take this website down once I've made a record of all the things on here that I can show my son when he's older, about the person I used to be.
